Core facilities provide faculty and students access to the newest instrumentation to advance their research. Texas Biologics is committed to investing in our multi-user facilities to support cross-campus biologics research efforts.

Our Investments

Proteomics Core

In partnership with the Center for Biomedical Research Support, Texas Biologics supported the purchase of a new Thermo Orbitrap Ascend, specifically the Evosep One and FAIMS attachments to advance biologics research. These attachments increase the throughput of proteomics analysis and quantification and provide enhanced separation of glycopeptides and resolution.

Biorespository

In partnership with Dell Medical School’s Health Transformation Research Institute, Texas Biologics supports a small biorepository to collect biospecimens for laboratory research under our joint Science Studio Program.
