Internal Funding

The Discovery to Impact launched the Proof of Concept Awards for principal investigators to demonstrate the feasibility of their innovations and accelerate the process towards commercialization. Two different types of awards are available.

Dell Medical School’s Texas Health Catalyst provides researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs customized guidance on product development from industry and clinical experts as well as milestone-based seed funding. Learn more about the application process.

Protecting Your Invention

The Discovery to Impact advances the university's research by providing UT researchers with the resources, knowledge, and tools to protect and promote their discoveries. OTC maximizes research impact through its evaluation, protection, marketing, and licensing of the university's inventions, software, and discoveries. Startup & Entrepreneurship Support

UT Entrepreneurship and Innovation is UT’s main resource for all programs related to entrepreneurship and tech commercialization, including student and educational opportunities.
